Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) allows you to upload your own files into Horizons and use the platform’s search and analysis tools on your data.
This feature is designed to make Horizons more useful for your specific workflows whether you’re working with internal documents, research files, or case-related data. Once uploaded, your data can be searched, organized, and shared just like other datasets in the platform.
To Get Started Navigate to the “Your Data” section in the platform. Here, you’ll see 2 main tabs:

FAQ
Who can see my data?
Your data is private by default unless you choose to share or publish it.
What happens if an upload fails?
You can retry failed uploads directly from the upload queue. If the file type is not support or any other upload failure, Horizons will indicate.
Can I edit my dataset after uploading?
Yes. Files can be added, removed, or renamed at any time.
Can I search my data alongside Horizons data?
Yes. Your data is integrated into the same search experience.
What is required to publish a dataset?
You must complete all required Data Dictionary fields before submitting a request.
